Founded in Central New York in 2015, All Poets and Heroes, helmed by Rob McCall and Corey Jordan, emerged as a conduit for human emotion within their local music scene. The Duo, Firm believers in the transformative power of music, embarked on their journey in indie-rock, by infusing their compositions with a captivating shoegaze flair that invites listeners into a universe of contemplation and introspection. With a combined tenure of nearly a decade in songwriting, McCall and Jordan have conscientiously crafted a sonic identity evoking comparisons to esteemed acts such as Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, and Jeff Buckley. Nevertheless, what distinguishes All Poets and Heroes is their adeptness at surpassing such parallels and pioneering a singular musical domain that is inherently theirs.
Their 2022 release, the double EP "Colorful Lungs Pt.1 & 2," showcased their collaborative prowess with Allen Tate of the esteemed Brooklyn-based group San Fermin, who helped refine their approach to music while preserving the essence of their distinctive sound. The accolades poured in when the song "Give It To Me Straight" was honored as Best Single at the Syracuse Area Music Awards, underscoring their profound impact within their hometown.
After cultivating a dedicated fan base throughout New York and beyond, the band embarked on a new chapter, relocating to Nashville, TN. There, amidst a community teeming with exceptional talent, they sought to further hone their skills and explore new musical horizons.
Looking ahead to 2024, All Poets and Heroes are poised for a breakout year with a series of new singles, led by the infectiously catchy “On and On”. Driven by an intense dedication to their craft, the band eagerly anticipates sharing their latest creations with the world, while prioritizing live performances to forge visceral connections with new audiences.
